Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman play supernatural sisters earnestly attempting to end a family curse that keeps them from finding true love.

October 4: The Amityville Horror (1979)
You don’t know what haunted house even means until you’ve seen this movie.

October 5: The Haunted Mansion (2003)
Was anybody else attracted to Master Gracey? No? Okay.

October 6: Sleepy Hollow (1999)
It’s not Halloween without somebody’s head getting chopped off!

October 7: Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire (2000)
"A Disney Channel Original Movie".

October 8: Frankenweenie (2012)
TBH, resurrecting your favorite pets doesn’t sound like such a bad thing.

October 9: Corpse Bride (2005)
Tim Burton's stop-motion animation. A man mistakingly marries a corpse on his journey to his (living) betrothed, the intended bride-to-be must save him from lifelong doom.

October 10: Edward Scissorhands (1990)
Don’t forget to have a box of tissues at the ready.

October 11: Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983)
Disney, this was probably way too scary to be a children’s movie.

October 12: Twitches (2005)
Never forget the power that was Tia and Tamera.

October 13: The Exorcist (1973)
A possessed daughter, a terrified mother, and two priests hoping to rid the girl of her demons make for one memorable horror flick.

October 14: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001)
Because you’ll low-key need to watch this to recover from The Exorcist.

October 15: Tower of Terror (1997)
It’s your favorite Disneyland ride reimagined––what could be better?

October 16: Casper (1995)
Don’t forget about your favorite friendly ghost. If you ever run into a ghost, fingers crossed it's Casper, the world's friendliest spirit!

October 17: Paranormal Activity (2007)
Be prepared to not sleep for the rest of October.

October 18: The Addams Family (1991)
From the hilarious antics of Wednesday and her brother Pugsley to the creepy crawly appearances by the Thing, The Addams Family is a must-see every Halloween.

October 19: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
And remember to watch the remake starring Laverne Cox right after!

October 20: The Conjuring (2013)
What makes this even scarier is that it’s based on a true story.

October 21: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)
A Classic. The friends can't wait to go trick-or-treating and then to a party at Violet's house, but all Linus can think about is The Great Pumpkin, Halloween's version of Santa


October 22: It (2017)
Whether you opt for the 1990 original, or test out last year’s remake, you’ll likely need to sleep with the lights on after a viewing of this terrorizing tale.

October 23: Halloween (1978)
Thee original one! Michael Myers escapes a psychiatric hospital on the night before Halloween then returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois to terrorize Jamie Lee Curtis.

October 24: The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
A visual masterpiece, The Nightmare Before Christmas follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, on his quest to take over Christmas.

October 25: Beetlejuice (1988)
A recently deceased couple, who get stuck haunting their former residence, enlist the help of Beetlejuice, a "bio-exorcist" with an evil agenda.

October 26: Carrie (1976)
A friendless (and telekinetic!) teen takes the fate of her town into her own hands after her fellow students humiliate her at the prom.

October 27: The 6th Sense (1999)
"I see dead people" is one of the most famous movie quotes in history, and it all started in The Sixth Sense, starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment.

October 28: Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge (2001)
Kal—the hottest villain to ever grace our television screens.

October 29: Halloweentown High (2004)
Why didn’t Halloweentown kids go to our high schools?

October 30: Gremlins (1984)
Viewers of all ages will delight in watching these little monsters reek mayhem on a small town.

October 31: Hocus Pocus (1993)
The best Halloween movie ever made. Hocus Pocus follows three sister witches, who are accidentally resurrected by three teenagers on Halloween night in Salem, Massachusettes. With endless laughs and spooks, this flick is a blast for the whole family.
